It's hard to leave when you have unthrottled, unlimited data at VZWs 4G LTE speeds for $30/mo and if you leave you can't get it back.

That is exactly where I'm at. I know I get service everywhere I'm going to be, I don't want to give that up. Plus grandfathered unlimited data.

It isn't even necessarily the carrier's fault when the technology to use their cdma and lte isn't open source. That's they fault of the chip manufacturer. Both sides foul it up.

Alright so i'm giving myself forty days(officially starting tomorrow) to write a short story or maybe a book if i feel the idea has enough merit to be expounded upon.(why am i saying this here?) so i will hold myself accountable..

Sure... AFTER I start loading apps, he tells me to unlock it.

Of course... if I'm unlocking it, I might as well root it too! (Actually that's in the plans, but for now I'm just gonna leave it as is. Probably unlock/root it on the weekend)

Sort of, yeah. Yesterday was my birthday (20), so I'm going skiing in Idaho for the weekend then potentially continuing on to Phoenix/St. Louis when everyone else heads back to Seattle.
