[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

I have a Galaxy Nexus, SGSIII, and Galaxy Note II, and my experience has been that both the SGSIII and Note II receive service in areas where the Galaxy Nexus does not. When I was up in rural New Hampshire last weekend, I brought both my Note II and Galaxy Nexus. The Note II picked up voice and 1xRTT data, while the Galaxy Nexus had no service at all.

The newer Samsung phones have definitely improved in that regard.

The main reason I dumped my galaxy nexus. Signal issues that were atrocious. The sgs3 and note 2 have been reliable.

I hate HTC because of my foul experience with their phones. Hated Samsung for the same reason. Hated my iphone because it was boring.

Now whats to hate about the s4 and one? Man I love new hot phones. Gets these forums bumping:p

I am not sure if I`ve ever seen a software feature that a manufacturer implements (that isn`t a part of stock Android) that I would use until I saw the camera on the SGS4. Running around town with my best friend and being able to take a picture of whatever is in front of my phone as well as a picture of us at the same moment is really damn cool, and the way you can use the postage stamp and other effects on it is neat too. I like that a lot. The rest is whatever. Silly gestures...do people just not like touching their phone all of the sudden?

Which one and what was the problem?
It was a droid eris I think. It was just crap. I think the battery life was the main reason I returned it. Didn't last long at all, and had some bugs (as most android devices had then.)
They did improve some with the Jelly Bean update.
That is good. Did they improve the battery life? I want a gnex to work out so much. Maybe I got a real defective unit. Happens I suppose.

I am waiting for the xphone or next nexus. Or note 3. Unless I find myself in Verizon and blown away by a s4 or one.

So I got out before that got worse lol. I would get a one over the s4 if I had to choose now, as long as the one has a decent battery life. Some sites say it is awful, while others say it is great. Can't wait for AC's review. Alex, you can always update the battery portion of the review if it helps you get it done!

Long day of travel, but we've finally arrived. Staying right in the shadow of the Sun Valley peak. And I have consistent non-hotspot internet access for the first time in... well, a long time.

For anyone that still needs/wants a T-Mo Sim/Micro Sim kit, they are free on their website right now, which is $10-$15 cheaper than they normally are.

Verizon's LTE extends ten miles outside of Sun Valley, which is Idaho's largest and most popular ski resort area. With T-Mobile I'm on edge while in the center of town and the resort itself. T-Mobile's plans may be much more attractive, but the extent of their network simply cannot match Verizon's. I had no service until two miles from the town, which meant no looking up map information, food, or anything. Not even calls.Verizon needs to realize the potential opportunity for them if they step out and reform mobile policies (such as contracts, pre-paid plans, data allowances, and device subsidization).

Saw this last night, made me think of Dylan/Chatter at large..

Rum is the one liquor that I simply cannot handle. Was my first "holy crap I'm hammered" experience (may or may not have been 15) and it was horrific. Black Seal Rum, IIRC. If I ever see a real black seal, I will slay it and wear its skin as my trophy.

Also, I haven't been this underwhelmed by a Samsung announcement since they introduced the S3.

Looks like there's only One phone for me, coming up.

The zero gap design is freaking awesome. 64G only sir. I think apple has been dethroned in the design department. If this hits Verizon (even though HTCs site does not mention it) it will breath life back to the Taiwanese brand.

I agree. A supposed Walmart document said it will replace the DNA. If so, sign me up.
