Damn! Just got Sourcery 5.1 on my GNex, 4.5 on my N7 but now I have to leave the fun house and go find gluten free beer & pizzas!??

I wonder when if this thread will ever end?

I don't want to think about it. It's too awesome here :D

It will be forever preserved in the archived databases of Android Central. Chatter is forever. Chatter is joy. Chatter is life. Chatter is eternal. /cult

I still can't fathom how that's a better setup than a landline, especially considering where you live.

I get nearly equivalent speeds, with the only downside being the increased latency. The price of unlimited plans over tiered plans is the same price as ? if not less than ? that of a lowest-tier hardline, and I avoid signing up for a contract (which I would need to in this apartment) as well as an additional bill. Plus, I also don't have to worry about capped mobile data at all.

Edit: also this, Chris. Warning, language.

Saw that on Reddit earlier and loled hard. Very true. Just weird to me, but I have never had a mobile device on anything more than a mediocre network here. I'm sure running on HSPA or LTE is speedy enough for the home.

Just curious what everyone averages for mobile data speeds (no screens hots of Speed test please). Just an approximate average.

For me, lately I've been running about 3 to 3.5 megabits/sec. Highest I've seen is just over 4. Worst was 0.3

I only ran speedtest once on mobile data, and I got 1.66 down / 1.84 up. Going to try again a couple of times tomorrow.

Edit: more info: 67 ms ping (server in Colorado for some reason). In Tarzana, San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles.

If you live in Kansas City or Olathe, sure. If not, that isn't really an option. I will, however, be getting a gigabit fiber line this fall: Gigabit Seattle | Gigabit Seattle.
