I wonderwhenif this thread will ever end?
I don't want to think about it. It's too awesome here![]()
I still can't fathom how that's a better setup than a landline, especially considering where you live.
Get it!

I get nearly equivalent speeds, with the only downside being the increased latency. The price of unlimited plans over tiered plans is the same price as ? if not less than ? that of a lowest-tier hardline, and I avoid signing up for a contract (which I would need to in this apartment) as well as an additional bill. Plus, I also don't have to worry about capped mobile data at all.

Just curious what everyone averages for mobile data speeds (no screens hots of Speed test please). Just an approximate average.
For me, lately I've been running about 3 to 3.5 megabits/sec. Highest I've seen is just over 4. Worst was 0.3

I will, however, be getting a gigabit fiber line this fall: Gigabit Seattle | Gigabit Seattle.
Sort of. It's the Optimus 3D, a developer international edition. Not sure what the differences are exactly besides a different baseband.
I have 3 Mbps down / 0.5 Mbps up at my home Wi-Fi. I'm a failure
And I'm in LA, so no Fiber. Not even freaking T-Mobile LTE.
