Treat that with the requisite grain of salt. While Taylor did leak some details of the Moto X more or less accurately (see this, this, this, this), he was also the one behind not-so-accurate 'leaks' like the Android 4.2 Project Roadrunner leak and related info (and some other Moto X stuff). His track record isn't the best, but that doesn't mean he isn't right this time either. Keep in mind it was also recently reported that LG is testing a Nexus 5 model.
I want Active Display notifications from the Moto X and double-tap to wake from the G2 on my One. Looks like I'll have to get around to actually rooting it soon.

...that's not to say I wouldn't very much enjoy a Motorola-made Nexus 5. I'd definitely pick one up.
