[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

The two platforms I know the least about are webOS and Windows Mobile. I've never even played with them in a store. So that's why my question might sound dumb. I do know someone who had an HP Touchpad, but he runs Android on it. I also know someone who still has a Samsung Jack, but I've never tried it at all; I just recognized it by seeing it.

My wife has a PalmPad and I also have a PalmPad, we love them!
We actually use them more then our Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

Aren't you a mod on WPC? 😮

Windows Mobile is not Windows 8 mobile. I think she's referring to the old Windows mobile.

That sounds like a good plan. I'm eligible for an upgrade, but there isn't anything for AT&T that I like enough to upgrade now.

My sister is out of contract and I was going to give her my GS4 and I was going to get a GS5 with her upgrade.

But my phone is still great and I have some unexpected expenses.

So, instead of spending $200 for a better camera when mine is great and for waterproof when I hardly use my phone close to water, I'll just keep my GS4.

Amazon has the GS5 for $112.49. But what if the phone has a problem, I would have to deal with sending the phone to them and not have a phone meanwhile.

In my job, the phone is an essential tool that I can't do without.

I always keep an old device around as a backup if needed. I don't have a landline, so I must have a working mobile phone too.

I know, but I gave my Photon to my mom. And if I use my sister's upgrade I would have to give her my GS4, so no backup. 😟

To be honest. Did you see the feature that allows you to pick up phone on the iPad and Mac? What other ecosystem allows that?

Morning y'all!!

Flashed an update to the ROM I'm using last night. When I went to bed my battery was at 63% and when I woke up I saw this.....

LOL!
I had that years ago between my Prē and my PalmPad; I could initiate or receive calls with the PalmPad. Also messages sent/receive from/with the PalmPad.

WebOS had that stuff years ago.
Like I said before, Apple is finally catching up to Palm/WebOS.

Did anybody notice the way ios does "multitasking" nowadays?

The famous cards metaphor from WebOS comes to mind!
I wonder why? Oh, they blatantly copied it!

Okay, rant over.
But all I said it's true! 😜

Didn't Blackberry do that with their Playbook and BB Bridge (or whatever it was called)?

Tim Cook? An iphone for a better life? Time spent trash talking Android? Class act no?

Does have Android have it? No.

Fanboy mode activated because of Stargate.

Android also took inspiration from Web OS with the multitasking. Or did you forget that? Did it work with your PC and/or MAC as well? Nope. So bad Stargate.
