[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

G3, +Camera FV 5 app, + Snapseed....

In other news, I fell last week and managed to crack the ball in my left shoulder. It doesn't hurt too much anymore, just a constant dull throb. Unless I move too fast or the wrong way...

Hows everyone doing?
Very nice picture!

Sorry to hear that you are hurting.

Hope your shoulder heal quickly.

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

So apparently I'm a wimp for avoiding doing any lifting with my injured arm.

Imagine a hot knife stabbed into your shoulder, and then trying to pry the joint apart. Even plugging in my phone is worth a shot of pain. Unless of course I keep it relatively still.

Ugh. rude and disrespectful and ignorant.

Wow! You certainly don't have a very good boss.

A dislocated shoulder definitely isn't pleasant. I had one as a teenager, but I got hurt playing basketball. Nobody would've asked me to lift anything though, since my arm was in a sling.

Wasn't my boss, just some people who really don't care about any except themselves.

Thankfully it's not dislocated (just cracked) but still doctors orders no lifting. And I do wear a sling often except in the evenings when I'm at home. Even going out in the evening (the rare time I do) I'll grab it.

Wow! That's just unbelievable! I've had some clueless coworkers but nothing close to that bad.

It takes all kinds. Not sure how else to explain it except that yes, I can MOVE it for the most part. Some motion hurts more than others, but moving it is quite possible. Any torque or pressure on the joint is extremely painful... and that includes lifting. To keep it stable and resting I keep it in a sling.

I hope it doesn't take long to heal.

I hate that I'm a gimp. I hate that I'm losing $500/month because I can't work my part time job due to the injury. Heck we just might be short on rent. And I'm a wimp because I don't want to lift stuff? Kiss my posterior.

I cannot say what I really feel about those coworkers of yours without getting banned.

Hope your better dancing-bass. :)
I wouldn't lift anything either or go against doctors advice either. It doesn't matter about/what any other's opinions are just cause they don't understand.
I bet the people making comments haven't gone though what you are .They should look up info on a dislocated shoulder.I haven't had one but I think that would be pretty painful.
I said "I think" because until you experience it ,ya really don't fully understand what it's like.

In other news:
My knee is finally getting better ,less swollen and puffy.I was going to doctor this week but now .
I will give it to end of week.

PS: Happy Tuesday ChattterHeads :) Its Hot & Humid in the South this week

My house isnt as noisey this week ,its kinda weird .Once you get use to the extra people its time for them to leave.
Last week house was packed with my "adopted family" :D
