[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Just got done flashing the latest ROM on my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. They make it so easy to do it! I don't think my n00bishness would allow me to do this on any other device besides a Nexus!

Anyway quite happy with how easy it was. Now I want to see if this update improves battery life or do I just go back to the old version.

I actually like the fact that I've broken stuff but was able to fix it when I've played with Android and Linux. I think it was good to break stuff and figure out how to fix it, since I learned something in the process.

Yes, I once made the mistake of removing Grub and needing to repair MBR on a PC. :D My dual-booting skills have since improved.

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

I downloaded it a week ago, and it still won't activate properly.

I go to the activation section, and I get the error message that the license key has been blocked by the Microsoft Activation Servers.

I have called Microsoft several times and all I have been told is to either "Wait until it automatically activates or purchase a license key" (of course the freaking license keys are $199.99)

Right now I am ticked off at Microsoft!
