While we are on the topic of privacy: here are some recommended services.
A fully featured text client! And as long as the person your texting has the app as well your messages are completely encrytped (and while the device is powered off\the app is not running)while in transit and hidden from prying eyes. I've been using this app for many months and have no complaints. Try it. Have your friends try it to.

Honestly getting an iphone is tempting. So tempting. I might do it next year on my next update and then get an unlocked nexus just so i stay current with android happenings. Iphones are so tempting as a package. And the apparently uncrackable encryption by even apple itself is a great touch. Speaking of touch if you like the idea of nit having to give up your password. Don't use bio metrics! Biometrics aren't considred a password and you can be forced to unlock your phone and reveal your private information if you use it. But not with a pin or a password. Just a pro tip

Edit:not that i have anything to hide in any way really. I am a huge fan of privacy though

Well, I can't use biometrics anyway. My device doesn't support it.

I knew that when I bought it, and I didn't care, since I had no intention of using that feature.

Chatter will reach 50k in time for the new year! Wooooot. Far sooner of course. But there was at point a competition\race to 50k with a thread on crackberry(?). Don't know if that is still technically "on" or not
