I am generally a year or two behind release dates. By the time I get to playing a game, it's like 10 - 20 bucks. I highly recommend it. Also, all by the time I get to them, most of the DLC is already released and there is a pack that has them all for mad cheap.

I, too, use this method. I'm ok with being behind the times. Makes my other habits easier to support.

I get most of my games off Amazon. I add them to my cart and just watch the price drop. Sometimes Newegg has good deals on games too, but, 99% of the time I get them from Amazon a couple of years after launch, lol.

Gotcha. It gets difficult. I have an extensive backlog of games that I want to get to, but, have to be really picky now. I used to fully complete even mediocre games. Several months ago, I just stopped playing one because it wasn't worth my time and I had so many other games to get to. That would have never happened when I was younger, or, in college, lol.

I still have a backlog of games I need to finish, including Rage, the entire Gears series, Halo Anniversary and Mortal Kombat. I'm sure there are others, too lazy to get up and look. My best friend / bro from another hoe is really wanting me to get a copy of Borderlands 2 when it comes out though, so I might do that.

Borderlands 2 is interesting. I liked the first one, wasn't in love with it but I played it for a little bit.

Aww, you're backlog is cute. I'm not even going to bother counting how many games I have on mine. It's just depressing.

The original Borderlands was fantastic, if you didn't play it. I will play the second one some day, if I ever get through Skyrim, lol. Pushing 200 hours. I have a feeling I'll be beyond 200 this weekend.
