[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Aww, I missed politics in chatter last night. :'(

I have three alarms. One for when I "want" to get up that I am free to snooze several times, but then go play Skyrim. One when I'd like to get up and not have to rush out the door. Lastly, I have one that serves to either remind me it's time to stop playing Skyrim and and shut down my computer OR time to wake up and run around the house like a madman because I have seven minutes to leave. Lol. It's nice to have options in the morning. This morning was option three, so, no pre-work Skyrim. :'(

DM, I wish my office still looked as clean as yours does lol

And ha, guess my growing up in the Chicago burbs spoiled my perspective. Northern Illinois to me must be north of Chicago (so about the northmost 20 miles of the state). Anything south of that (especially south of I-88) is central Illinois. You from the twin city area?

I'm from all over the Midwest, but we currently reside in Monticello, just northwest of the cities.

I just realized this morning after running AOKP build 4 few a few days that I never reset my lockscreen options... I didn't have my battery level displayed, no weather, no calendar events..

I hold my head in shame... I'm loosing the edge, I'm hanging on too tight :p

Lol. It took me a long time to realize PA had a backup option. Once I stumbled into that it made flashing grouper much faster.

How is sprint over in your area? The lady's mother is having some serious issues with her SII on sprint. Wondering if that stretches as far west as you are (for this area, I mean).

I require about 7 alarms in the morning, and my girlfriend sets another one.

My girlfriend doesn't wake up to alarms.

True story: The other week when I was gone for a night on business, I had her move the home phone near the bed. She set an alarm, and I called the home phone repeatedly. I also used my home VPN along with a proxy server to log into my audio/video receiver right next to the bedroom and crank the music. All of the above managed to wake her up.

Bought 2 five hour energy shots, 2 monsters, 2 bags of sunflower seeds, and a bunch of tea bags. Lawyering is cereal business.

Who is running what on the GS3? The missus is getting the itch for better battery life. It must be stable though.

5 hour energy... I tried that the other day... Man that kept reminding me all day into the night that I drank that nasty tasting orange crap ! Y U C K !

Then it didn't even do anything even after slamming a few Pepsi "Throwbacks" as chasers... :p

I like the sunflower seeds that is a must.

Running AOKP B4 with Lean Kernel 1.1.1 and its been extremely solid so far. Battery life has been great as well.

AOKP build 4 with LeanKernel is running well for me. Standby battery drain of just about 1% per hour while on 3G in an area with good service.

There are occasional data drops (which apparently has been an issue with all SGSIII JB ROMs), but the build is otherwise stable. I've heard that CM10 now has a new RIL that fixes the issue so I expect that the next AOKP build will incorporate the fix as well. You may want to wait for a new build if you prefer not to flash a CM10 nightly.

Dunno bout this lg pseudo nexus. I might hold out to see what else comes down the wire this winter ... this phoNe right here is still lgeit.

Too legit to quit, in fact.

anybody else gonna try to pick this up..? this is how much of a Android nut I still am... last night after putting the kid down.. I made up some excuse to go get some ice cream... ran down to the local Barns to see if they already had the issue in stock... didn't read the article about the part that there is only going to be like 1,000 copies, with the smartphone in it... bla, might try again tomorrow during lunch... will be a cool weekend, project...

Yes I'm on the bubble big time about that LG Nexus if it is indeed real.

I have my upgrade in my back pocket just in case... My worry is if Sprint does grab the next addition of Nexus will they burn us like they have with the Sprint Galaxy Nexus? Sure we have gotten updates quicker than the Verizon GNex but Sprint has never come to an agreement with Google on supporting it in AOSP which sucks. No official factory images, no binaries, notta... We got a toroplus mentioning and recognition from JBQ since he's cool like that....

Oh on another note I just got thru doing a manual installation of the GNex drivers on my Vista laptop... WOW what a nightmare that was, I hate using Wugs one click.. Sure it works but I hate depending on One Clicks... So at least I can say I can pull it off both ways, I'll admit Wugs is much faster and accomplishes the same thing installing the drivers for you. Once that is accomplished I do everything else manually myself :p

WOW Atari flash back! Awesome... Jeez that brings back some memories... Yes I'm that old guys.. I was rocking an Atari 2600 gaming system and also an Atari 600 computer back in the days of BBS's wayyyyy before Al Gore invented the internet :p

Happy Lunchtime, Chatterites.

Leftovers? When it is homemade vegetarian teriyaki with brown rice...yeah, I think so.
