Everyone do their taxes yet?
Dammit, I am such a procrastinator when tax time comes...I normally wait for the 15th to do em.
Determined to do it today 5 days early
I've looked at the turbotax app for the phone...doing taxes on the phone, what a novel concept.
Maybe I'll do turbotax on the comp...did it couple years ago.

Yeah same here. Made no money for the past 3-4 years b/c of school/part time employment. What's a pain is doing the state , especially this year where I had to do Maryland (school residence) and PA (permanent residence).

+1 took me about 30 mins to do them on turbotax.. I'm also a bare bones guy lol.. Didn't work too much last year (at least not much on the books ) and started going back to school so I got a nice deduction for tuition.

In all seriousness, I am what some would call a "procrastinator". I did request another W-2 from my job, but haven't received it yet. I have already gotten duplicates of everything else I need. Hoping to be able to just squeeze in there by the 15th.

What actually happens when you don't file in time? Haven't had that happen except once.... when the ex insisted on doing the taxes..... then didn't do the taxes. They didn't catch it for 3 years, then I just had to file separate for that year. As far as I know, everything is straight.

You def want to file for an extension before tax day... They give them to you no problem but if you don't ask for it you can be in for penalties, headaches, etc..

3 years = statute of limitations, generally. If you don't file, you pay a failure to file penalty (calculated monthly, BTW), failure to pay penalty, and interest. If they think you're committing fraud, there's no statute of limitations.

Please file your extension before the 15th . If you get a notice of proposed adjustment or a deficiency letter, shoot me a private message .

Well the Pro Bowl is in Hawaii so there is one game a year,,,,, even tho it doesnt really count or anything , haha
And I guess since all roads surrounded by water , your road cruizin is limited but ya cant never really ever get lost cruizin either ,ha

Yeah the pro bowl guys play like pussies....they don't hit hard or run fast. They just want to get it over with and get back to Waikiki and sip a mai tai.
