Man I miss having my pool table setup. Actually its my dad's, we picked it out together a few years before he passed away and had many great memories "parties held" surrounding that table. When he passed it was the one thing I said I wanted and I have it stored in my basement for future when I have a bigger basement to properly setup and enjoy it once again.

My pool table is also a table that use to be a family pool table.My dad bought it when we was kids( I have brother and sister).It used to be in my parents basement setup beside a ping pong table.The ping pong table was trashed years ago..
About 3 years ago I moved this pool table to my house from parents house.I have lots of memories too shooting pool with my dad(he died in 2008 of cancer).Anyhoo pretty similar situation as you mentioned about your dad and your pool table
