[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Re: [Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Doesn't mean it won't be again. Regardless, you can enlist.

I know 75 year olds that have no business drinking. Alcoholism doesn't discriminate on the basis of age.

Not seeing the draft ever coming back here. Don't really need it. Being in the military I see what kind of people are being recruited. The term "dumber than a bag of hammers" comes up quite often. Can't see a draft making things any better unless we really need a body.

I actually agree that we won't see the draft again in this country in my lifetime and probably forever. Nonetheless, I think the drinking laws in this country need to be revamped. As do the drug laws. However, since this is supposed to be a fun thread or at least that is what it seems to me, I won't get into the details of my thoughts.

I would rather talk about electronics, food and cats (and makeup but I am sure I am alone here in that desire).

Agreed. Moving on! :)

S4 is sounding awesome. Might be with an early upgrade for me.

Finally have a reliable hotspot again. Internet has been a battle the past few days thanks to a stubborn Nexus 4.

Well another successful rooting of a GNex...

Finally after listening to my soon to be 13 year old daughter complain about her GNex running stock 4.1.1 and how much better her friends phones ( S3's and iPhone) were I said do you want you phone to be like mine? That would be awesome Dad...

So she now rooted and running AOKP 4.2.2 and lovin life on the wild side... She's already been changing nav bar colors and status bar colors, etc... She said it even seems like a new phone ;)

That was all I needed to hear... Saved me about $200 on buying a S3 or iPhone 4s :D

Ahhh wise choice:P custom ROM's are so much better, personally for myself I'm running Cyanogenmod M2 on a N4 with 4.2.2 and love all the extra features it is so much better now!!

I am definitely in the market for a new toy. Looks like big red may be getting the HTC one. Tempting, but I hate sense. I also dislike touchwiz. Ugh...

Well, Samsung phones aren't really shiny? more plasticky. The N4 is shiny :D

I'm still on the bubble about a new phone...

Sure the HTC One and S4 are very tempting contenders. Although I'm still a Nexus guy at heart so I'm holding out that glimpse of hope that we will see Sprint drop the Nexus 4 (LTE) sometime early summer after the S4 hype dies off.. Maybe it won't happen but I just can't see Sprint passing on it having the NS4G and GNex and they were late to the game on both too....

I think I might go out and buy a Nexus 7 just to have something a bit more fresh than my GNex and since I've never owned a tablet it will be a welcome addition to the stable. Plus it keeps my phone upgrade readily available in the event Sprint does drop something tasty in the near future.

I thought Google made it clear that producing a CDMA Nexus was not something they were interested in doing, no?

If the S4 is anything like the leaked one I'm going to, most likely, own a One as soon as it comes to VZW.
