Uploading 6GB worth of video files to my server over the slave Verizon gnex... I'm looking at a solid 6-hour timeframe here.

Living the hotspot life: slow internet? Move internet to window.

I can't imagine having that much data available. Then again, I've got 5GB/month. Average month I use maybe a gig. If I'm at work, I can only use my phone at breaks. If I'm not at work, chances are good I'm at home (Wifi, or just use the desktop).

I used to keep track and was running 150-200GB over mobile lines. I now have so many devices that I switch between and wipe/flash over (clears the data usage) that I no longer have any estimate on my data usage.

Somewhere between 25GB and 300GB. :p

I still can't fathom how that's a better setup than a landline, especially considering where you live.

Those comments made me a little queasy, honestly. One of the dumbest things someone can do. I've been in enough accidents to know that almost instantaneously something can run out in front of you, or a car on the side of you can try to come in to your lane without paying attention and seeing you right there, there's deer in some areas (especially where I live), the list goes on and on. Got to love the "I was at a stoplight" rationale too, because people never run red lights, especially not while your light just turned green and you're typing the last few words before you push 'send'.

Should have known better than to read those comments, lol
