Link isn't working...anyway, they are a 7inch nextbook android tablet. It's running ICS, 8gb of internal memory with micro sd slot, Google Play is the app store, comes with 50 preloaded ebooks...and is $70. The reviews are all pretty positive. The boys love playing minecraft, angry birds and such. I want one to practice rooting and to have another toy to play with...anyone have one?

Ok, so I've decided on the tablets I'm going to pick up today, Nextbook 8 inch tablet, loaded with JB 4.1, 8gb store with 32 gb micro sd support, 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor, 1gb Ddr3 ram, 1024x768 screen resolution, 2mp camera rear, .3 no camera front...$100

I just picked up two Sero 7 Pro tablets, Tegra 3 processor, JB, IPS display, 8gb internal and 32 SD...$149. Currently at 68%, with 2hr 43min screentime, 1day 5.5hr ontime. They aren't on display, most including me have had to ask for them.
There is also the Sero 7 LT model, with a lesser screen(not IPS) and a lesser processor, for $99. The Pro, however, is close to the Nexus 7 in specs, and $100 less. The only thing missing is guaranteed Google updates.
So far, I'm finding it to be a great little tablet, no problems at all. I highly recommend it, if updates aren't a deal breaker for you. At this price/specs, they shouldn't be...

That's what I get for reading all the posts since I left...you already decided. Still, I think the Sero is worth consideration for anyone, especially if you want/need JB and a Tegra processor.

Not worth it IMO. For $50 more you can get an N7 with Nexus updates and double the storage. Or better yet, the N7 2 which will probably blow every other 7"tablet out of the water when it comes out (like the OG N7 did).
