[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Anyone recommend a good Windows laptop with a good discreet GPU that is thin and light and has at least a 1080P display?

I recommended one for you on iMore :p
If you already have two MBPs why not build a desktop for gaming?

This is the third year for this salvia in my mom's yard, and it is getting huge. The bees love it! :)

Spurs up by 15 with 3:15 left to play. Looks like it's in the bag 🙌

I want a notebook that can game. I love my rMBP but gaming... I can't play Battlefield 4 or any of the latest games:(

Is your old MBP still functional? If so you can try selling it. You can build a decent machine for less than $1K. Will game better than any notebook

Dropping the idea. Each of the other laptops have one compromise or another(battery, weight etc) My MBP is literally the best 13" laptop.

That's a given with any gaming machine 😛
I do agree that the rMBP is the best 13" notebook.

My windows loving friends are like, why Mac? then I feel like saying look at all the compromises you make...and how you pay the same amount of money as us Mac owners for generally inferior products. I wannna see a true Windows competitor to the 13"rMBP but we will never see that...

15" models, Apple loses a bit of their lead here methinks.

I agree. The Dell XPS 15 is an excellent alternative to the rMBP 15. Unfortunately their XPS 13 is more of an ultra book than a work bench, so it uses ULV CPUs and Intel HD 4400 graphics.

The XPS 15 is just as expensive as the rMBP 15". It makes me cry.
