Going to get some premium double twist. That may be enough to quell my gripes for now

Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
When I was trying to duplicate my iTunes library, Doubletwist worked pretty well for me. But it had flaws like creating lots of duplicates. After awhile I just quit iTunes altogether, and went all in with Google Music Manager and Google Play Music. I got sick of messing with it all, it got too complicated. Have you tried the Samsung Search Function and the baked in music player after the old drag and drop with your music library?

I haven't tried that yet, as I have some roots in iTunes and love hearing some pod casts. Going to do the double twist thing for now as I can mash what's on iTunes and google music and still partake of the podcasts. I can't stand duplicates, so I hope that doesn't start. Will report back.

I hear you, a lot of parents that work way too much feel very similar. More importantly, I ******* love you....

... The only advice I can give (I know you may not want advice) is to remind yourself to show your wife, your closest friends, your kids how much you appreciate their contributions. That may feel backwards today, but worst case scenario they feel a little better and best case you start a habit of reciprocation. Vent away good sir, you're among friends.

Dang it Darth, I'm not a cryer but you just about got me.

Much appreciated, believe me. Finally told my mother in law about it all.

She said "I know, I'm not surprised, and I love you anyway. You're a good man. Don't forget it"

Your mother in law understands you. Now you know you have someone to talk to, to vent to. You know now that you have a family member that appreciates you and that's important right?

You are far more amazing than other people that just give up and get a divorce. I respect you so much for that.

Yeah, she's pretty awesome, just very rare we have a chance to talk one-on-one.

Ok need S4 advice. My home button sometimes is hard to press. Like its really sticky to press. It always registers the click once it unsticks but it's annoying when it happens. No liquid contact as far as I know. I was going to try electronic contact cleaner spray, but it was suggested to try compressed air first.

I only got it in April so it shouldn't be hardware failure of any kind yet. I'm super careful with it. It hasn't been dropped or anything. Ideas/thoughts/recommendations?

Does it feel sticky, or does it feel like something is obstructing it?

Almost feels like there's a bit of resistance like fine sand or grit jamming it, and it feels like something grinds when it unsticks. Kinda unsettling to feel it go "crunch"

But it also feels sticky in a way. Makes me think of my old computer keyboard that had juice spilled on it. The buttons worked but some had that sticky/resistance feeling (until took it apart and washed everything plastic and carefully wiped down the contact sheets inside)

Hmm... I would think that there would be some dirt that got in there somehow. But since you took it apart and found nothing... That's weird.

Hello Andrew!
I'm sorry you are having those feelings on this special day.

I know the feeling, although I'm not in that situation now, I have felt it before, it's not good at all.

We care about each other here, please feel our espiritual support and remember you have us to vent, to talk, to be there for you.

I do understand how you feel on the weekends, I also require plenty of quietness.

I also respect you and want to help in some way. Although I'm not connected all the time, I'll be here or in G+ for you and everyone else.

Keep the faith and belive in yourself.

No, I haven't taken the S4 apart... yet. (my juice-soaked keyboard I did)
Still under warranty so if a shot if compressed air or some other "fix" doesn't solve it I'll send it in for warranty repair. I'm thinking It's just a bit of lint or pocket crap that's gotten jammed in there somehow. Hopefully a couple bursts with a can of air will solve it.

Yeah, definitely try the compressed air. And return it if it still has the same issue. It would drive me absolutely nuts if my S3 had that problem.

Thanks Stargate.

I wrote that and was just going to keep it as a personal file. Then I figured why not share it? Why keep bottling up these thoughts. I figured this would be a good place to open up a bit

Everyone here is awesome. I do feel the love and support from you all. Thanks isn't enough, the word or the button, but it's all I have. I mean it from the bottom of my heart

Yeah, going to try the "fix it myself without voiding warranty" stuff first, if that fails then I'll have to do warranty. Hopefully not though
