When your microsd card had a subsurface non visible crack( I know that it had one because upon removal of the card it snapped in half from the pressure) and then proceeds to fry your Fiio X1. Thanks Micro sd card. I felt like burning 100 dollars tonight

Nope. The card had it been the only thing to bite the dust. I wouldn't have minded so much. At least it wasn't my 128 card that died. Saves me some money. Should i go through with getting a replacement x1. At this point I'm tempted to just get a dac amp combo put the 128 card in my phone and call it a day

I have a similar card, but mine's a Samsung.

Always use scotch tape to remove SD cards from really tough slots...

Finally flashed official ROMs on both the Xiaomi devices. Now tomorrow I'll try to get Gapps working on them both. It's quite late now to finish up...

Quick update. Latest version of Play Store installed on both devices. Now I am going to install just the basic few Google Apps that I use consistently on these devices. I might even root the Redmi Note 2 to get rid of all Xiaomi apps which are redundant once you get Google Play Store installed.

sent out a warranty claim for the fiio and hoping to get a replacement. IF that happens i'll be sitting with almost duplicate devices. But the odds of that happening are low
