Woot! Early upgrade - I'm sure you remember by G3 struggles. I talked to my carrier and worked out an early upgrade (I was only due in October). Due to the family budget I had to go cheaper - but thats ok with me. So I picked up an LG G4 for $0 on contract

Awesome! That's a great device and definitely a great deal you got.

still doing updates (always a good thing when it's brand new from the box) but already it feels like home - I didn't realize how much I'd missed my G3.

I am glad you were able to get a new phone! I would suggest going the custom rom route if you can. It drives me nuts that I can't do it to mine. DANG YOU sprint

So I have been wanting to use my Nokia N1 a bit more than my other two Android tablets. I had been waiting for the case to arrive. Well it turns out that the seller sent it to someone in Washington instead of California.... so now I have to open a case on eBay....

In other news I was planning to upgrade the RAM on my old laptop and clean the fan and apply new heat transfer paste. The cleaning the fan seems to be a bear of a job though...

Yes , I got them at the produce market here in town.
I like to wash clean them,cut the green leafs of the top, sprinkle some sugar on them.
Then place in fridge and let them make strawberry juice,eat like that..... or put in those dessert cups and top with whip cream

Stock software for now until the warranty is up. Likely CM after that. I loved it on my G3, my only complaint was the drop in camera quality (which I assume was related to not being able to access the LG camera software)

The 'g4' logo on the back is almost completely faded after 7 months of use

For whatever reason all Canadian carrier locked G4s shipped with both leather and plastic backs
