check if device is refurb

You WANT or do NOT want it to be refurbished or used? Are you trying to get a phone from a carrier or a person? Just ask either party. There's nothing software wise to tell if it was refurbished.

To a person, Iwant to check if it's really new to buy it. I don't want a refurb phone its is even checking data c.

So....with this said, what are some better than the stock Sammy headphones? I'm an ex iphone user, and love the new Earpods, but don't want to sacrifice in line controls. Best bet just to do a quick whack and solder the 'pods' on? Or does anyone offer something simaler?

There's another thread dealing with soldering the headphone wires. It's not as easy as it sounds.

Sometimes you can tell because there is a new sticker with the serial number and other important stuff over the original. Otherwise there really isn't any way to tell if its a refurb or new.
