Just got back from a Sprint store to play around with one until I get my phone hopefully next week (letstalk backordered). It was a very nice phone. I can't see how anyone would go and take a look at the phone and based on this, pass on it. Very fast and smooth all around. I was afraid it might seem too big but that definitely wasn't an issue. The only complaints I could see were:

the salesman booted up the first-person shooter game that comes with the phone and it never loaded - just sat at a blank screen. I'm not buying this for games, but it still seemed odd.

The whites were washed out a bit. The brightness may have been down since we were indoors and the phone wasn't attached to a charger so maybe they wanted it to last throughout the day.

I am even more pumped to get my phone - this really does seem like the future as far as smartphones are concerned.
That game loaded black most likely cause the phone wasn't activated on the network. The one at my Sprint store wasn't activated either and the first thing that game does is attempt to download it since it's just a link to a free download.

20/20 vision actually .. lets refrain from personal insults and act like adults and talk about the phone which is what this forum was created for.
I was making recommendation to improve you eye sight with a chuckle it wasn't meant as true insult.
Sorry if you were offended.
As far as your current 20/20 when is the last time you got them checked?
The reason I ask is because your not seeing what 99.9 % of on lookers are.
SGSIIE4GT totally blows away EVO screen in contrast & color.
A few here and there pick on it due to resolution thats fine but their not looking at big picture.
Some great insight.

Just picked up a Sensation and before this I would have agreed with you that you should wait for the Amoled HD phones but the Galaxy S 2s are very solid devices. I have compared the G2X (WVGA, dual core, aosp) and the Sensation (qHD, dual core, Sense) and I've came to the conclusion that even qHD is a little too much for our processors right now unless you're running aosp android and even then it's a little much. I mean my Sensation is running at the chipset's original specs, 1.5ghz, and it still has lag from time to time unless it's on an aosp rom. I think the quality of the picture is more important anyway, I played the same video on a Super Amoled Plus equipped Infuse and my Sensation and the Infuse blew my phone away, which sucks to admit, I love my phone lol. The only time the extra resolution seems to be of benefit is for still images like my background and browsing the web which I never actually enjoyed on any other phone before this one. Honestly if you're looking for pure speed the G2X and the Epic Touch are the fastest phones are going to get until we start seeing quad core processors if you ask me.. On the other hand though the Nexus S is an awesome phone that really makes the best of it's hardware with pure aosp android. Samsung hardware with aosp gingerbread is a great combination!
