chipmunks take over your droid?

hi gang!

I've got this awesome new phenomenon where it sounds like the chipmunks have taken over my phone. When I play back a google voice vm or a youtube video things will start out normal, and then they'll speed up almost like a warped cassette tape or the chipmunks are talking.

this even happens on dial tones when I'm dialing a number.

any ideas? thanks!

Try turning the phone back on and off?

I almost forgot I wasn't on my old Curve and nearly spat out "battery pull", heh.

I found out a while ago that you can speed up and slow down your message playback... I can't remember which keys do it but i think 4 was one of them... press it as you play the message.

I don't think this is your full problem though as I doubt that would affect youtube or your dial tones... good luck!
