Chomp SMS issue????

I recently downloaded chomp and it worked fine, but now the popup is being weird. Whenever I receive a message, the app itself opens up behind the popup and after I send a message or close it it goes to the actual app as opposed to whatever app was open before I received the pop up. I haven't found anyone else with this problem and I've read through the setting list multiple times.
