ChompSMS input box smaller?

I know this is really minor, but is there a way to resize the input box/send button/emoji button on ChompSMS?

It's the last thing on the bottom, with the send button and the little plus icon. Can't miss it

Nothing as far as I can tell from the settings, and I've scoured them.

You can't just change UI elements willy-nilly.

I agree, the dev might appreciate the input. They may not have a mdpi device to test to see sizing. And especially Indy devs are always looking for feed back

Sorry, I sometimes don't think my responses through completely. What I meant was, have you contacted the developer of the app and asked him/her/them if there was a way to adjust the input box. This isn't something (like drew and hlxanthus pointed out) that can easily be changed from the users end, not without some serious understanding of the apps framework.

Ohh. I'll contact the dev/s right now. But I actually opened up the apk that I pulled from /data/app, and I couldn't find the image for the box/border of it (the grey bit). I did find the send and the plus button though.
