Chrome bar not at bottom anymore

As of today, my chrome browser now has the bar across the top, as opposed to at the bottom. I liked it at the bottom as I can better access the bookmarks one handed.

Anyone else seeing this? I can find any setting to change it back. Any help?

this was changed a long time ago. I don't believe there's a way to change it back, because I liked it at the bottom, as well.

the reason why you're only noticing it now is because some of those legacy settings manage to make their way through updates for awhile.

The Samsung Internet browser has the bar at the bottom. You might want to give that a spin.

Up until about a year ago there was a flag you could set to move the address bar and controls to the bottom.

That's the odd part to me. Mine has always been top and I've never seen an option to move it.

it may have only been in Chrome Beta (not 100% sure about that).

the option would have been a flag as opposed to a setting.

Really odd but mine has switched to the bottom, never seen this before but thought it was to move in line with One UI, with everything being lower down and that. It's really hard to get used to though.
