Anyone else finding chrome slow and laggy on n7?
I use chrome on my Xoom, laptops, galaxy nexus and all run perfect, yet on my n7 its awful to use, often freezing and taking a long time for pages to load.
Occasionally coming up with wait/end/send error report.
Have tried clearing data/cache etc but still frustratingly slow.

I'm not 100% sure if Chrome is causing this but my Chrome has started lagging. I've had my Nexus 7 for about 10 days and it was fine up until the last 36 hours. In essence I am still trouble shooting.

But still, Chrome has more consistent lag than anything else. (Even if it's working great now.)

Need to try dolphin etc... but at the moment chrome is not a good look.... lag here as well.

I've got the same problem. Chrome has become unusable on my N7. Dolphin works fine.

Too bad. I like Chrome but I was considering ditching it anyway because swiftkey 3 has a very strange glitch where it inserts nonsense and them repeats the nonsense when you hit backspace.

After looking through googles pages it appears there is a "known bug" with certain devices..
It doesn't list the devices, I would of thought that if it was their flagship tablet it would be quite a high priority.
Yes other browsers are smoother, but none has the slick integration of bookmarks and tabs across multiple devices. Hope they fix it quick, is frustrating.

Noticed the same, particularly when typing into the search area and not the url/search bar. Happens in both areas though. Very, very aggravating.

Oddly after thinking what had changed in the past couple of weeks (it wasnt a chrome update) the only other thing is I had Bluetooth enabled as I had been using a Bluetooth keyboard last week.
I've just turned Bluetooth off, and chrome has been much better, no where near as much lag and no application hangs.
Can't believe that would be it, will keep on testing.

Chrome or no Chrome, my touch screen has responsiveness issues. I'm wondering how many of the problems mentioned here are not due to using Chrome but with the touch screen itself?
