The problem: Link notifications in Chrome on my S9+ arrive, but won't click to open anymore.

The setup: On my Chromebook, in the URL I click "send to my devices", which is my S9+ phone.
The link sends to my phone just fine.

On my phone, I see the notification in my tray. I pull down, see it just fine, but when I push on it, it won't open. In fact, nothing happens.

In the very recent past when I opened the notification I simply pressed on
it and it opened the link on my phone in Chrome, worked great. Now however when I open the notification and press on it, nothing happens.

I'd like an answer how to get the notification to actually open the page like it used to. Thx

Welcome to Android Central! Just tested on my Pixel 3 XL, and it works fine. @mustang7757, can you test on one of your Samsung devices?

Use the Send To Your Devices option in desktop Chrome to send a URL to your Samsung phone. Then tap the notification on the phone to see if it opens up the link properly.

I'm wondering if it's some glitch with Samsung devices. @Greenstrap45, is Chrome your default browser? Any other browsers installed? (I'm not sure if the S9 came with Samsung Internet browser preinstalled.)
