Chromecast and Bluetooth at same time on HTC One?

Successfully setup Chromecast from HTC One to HDTV home theater system. Trying to now send audio to kitchen bluetooth speaker. Speaker seems to pair, phone says speaker paired, but no audio. Can I not transmit audio via wireless (chromecast) and bluetooth speaker simultaneously?
