Chromecast and video playback quality?

I got my chromecast yesterday. I hooked it up and everything works as advertised. My only issue is that when I send a video from my computer, tablet or phone the picture quality is not real good. Even the free Netflix is not very good...the picture from all devices and apps are fuzzy.
I am using a Samsung 780p - 1080i TV. Picture looks great with my DVD player and direct tv , just not chromecast.
Any thoughts?

Could be your WiFi is slow.

That is usually what the problem is, a weak signal or slow internet speeds in general
