Also, for several months already, the Netflix app on my tablet has asked if I'd rather watch the video on my Google TV.

It accepts streaming tabs from Chrome? I definitely don't have that option with my Sony GTV box.

No, not streaming tabs from Chrome browser, but in my Google Play and Youtube apps on my phone.
