Chromecast on Jetpack

I know when they first came out Chromecast would not work on a Jetpack Hotspot. Is there any change in this? Anyone try it recently? I am looking to do some mobile app training and cast my screen to a TV. Can't use the same wifi network as the app needs accessed from the outside.
