Chromecast supporting app wishlist

DI.FM and SiriusXM are 2 subscription apps I would like to see on Chromecast... I already have Pandora One. Haven't tried TuneIn Radio but will check it out as some are suggesting it..

Kind of. Plex will play content you have on a server. It doesn't have the client talk to a file share though. Plex actual streams the video through its server software to the CC, it will transcode it if needed. That is probably better then just doing a file share, but can very system intensive

You can give Simple Radio Recorder a try, one of the first full featured Radio Player / Recorder supporting chromecast

BubbleUPNP + ES File explorer set up to access the SMB share - needs the BubbleUPNP server on the windows machine for non-chromecast native formats. Browse to media with ES File Explorer, choose open as video, select BubbleUPNP as your player.
