Chromecast Tip

Hey guys - I just got my Chromecast and the power didn't reach the outlet. I was upset until I decided to plug it into my xbox and it powered on. It looks like you can plug it into any powered USB (basically anything but your TV) and it will work.

it will work with usb on TV as well but it shouldnt be a TV service USB.

I have 2 USB one is servie and the other is normal USB

The USB on my TV says "Service Only" and it was able to power mine. So I don't think all service USB ports wont work.

SOme service TV ports cut power to USB when nTv is switched off , I've heard.
