Chromecast worked fine and now doesn't.

I bought chromecast about a 5 days ago and have been using it since, well I set it up through my galaxy s4 and it was working fine for 4 days until today. Now it wont stay connected to my phone, Hulu plus has to buffer every 2-5 mins(which eventually results in a video loading error).

My chromecast isn't far from my router probably about 5 feet, i used the extension cable and it didn't help one bit. Also, now occasionally my phone will tell me my network is unstable(?) which is the first time this has happened since I used this internet provider(xfinity).

My router is a ARRIS(Model: TG862G/CT). Which I haven't changed anything recently so I have no idea why chromecast is doing this now. Also I have trouble connecting to it now, if i try to connect to it, it wont connect or will take forever to connect resulting in it not connecting. Also, I don't know if this is important or not but my phone is picking up my chromecast as an actual wifi network and just now it said on my tv "connecting" even though i wasn't doing anything with it.

I hope someone knows a solution because this is killing the product for me.

I've read a few other post in other forums dealing with problems with that router. Such as, Weak WiFi Signal - Arris TG862G/CT - Comcast Help and Support Forums

Try unplugging your router, then plug back in. this solved connection issues i had twice over the past 4 months.
