Clear film on sides

I promise I'm not an *****, but I cannot determine if this clear film is intended to be permanent or just temporary like the film on the front. I can't imagine they would want to put something like that on it permanently but they are placed perfectly and none of them have those pull tabs to easily remove them. I have the att variant if that matters.

Its a screen guard u can keep it as long as u want...i have it on my and u can barely notice its there...i have a tempered glass will install it later when i think time is right...

I've left mine on. Some people have taken them off. I thought they were pretty unobtrusive and might offer some degree of extra protection.

I had the same question. You can leave them on or remove them. Doesn't really matter.

My phone didn't come with film on the side and I'm on Sprint.. Do they not package their devices the same?

I took mine off. The came off fairly easy. It too me a day or so to realize they were there. I can definitely see leaving them if you like.

I would leave it on to protect against scratches or dings. But you'll miss out on the awesome metal feel of the phone.
