I have not seen this posted anywhere else on the site- General, Carrier.. I just got the Epic 4G about 10 days ago and overall it's pretty blazing speeds here in Las Vegas. I wonder what the future will be like for WiMax.

What ever happened to those rumors of Sprint partnering up with Walmart putting towers or somthing on their stores.

I think Sprint is going to go LTE soon. However, it'd be ashame to do that and have Wimax 2 come out soon after to destroy LTE.

wow, I never heard of Wimax 2. Funny thing, there are articles released today of Samsung showing off 330Mbps WiMax 2...wow!



This is going to be interesting, and maybe another Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD battle?

Certainly, I really hope that Sprint forgets LTE and sticks with Wimax. Their customers will appreciate it in the future.
