Android Central Question

I accidentally clicked on a spam text link yesterday when trying to send it to my carrier to let them know, and it attempted to open a browser tab but I immediately before it loaded closed out. Should I be worried I have malware or a virus, I have a Samsung note 9 if that helps

Do you have a setting in your SMS app to block spam Texts? If not it may be worth installing Google Messages app. Not only will you have spam blocking available but you can use RCS advanced messaging.

Guys, how do I protect myself from Scam sites? Is there any article or video that talks about this topic?

Welcome to Android Central! The best protection is just not to go there. The vast majority of those kinds of sites are pretty obvious. But as I mentioned in my guide that mustang7757 linked, you'll encounter much more of that kind of scamminess with certain kinds of sites (e.g., porn, gambling, "free" aka pirated movies/music), so definitely stay away from those.
