Clock: Different on Homescreen and Lockscreen

HTC apparently pushed out some update to VZW customers, and I now have a very cool looking clock/weather widget on my home screen. However, I can't seem to find a way to use this same widget on my home screen. I can see someone has figured it out, as it's pictured in this article as the home screen clock:

That's the Sense 7 Clock widget, and the article you are talking about most likely has a photo of the new M9 with that widget on the homescreen.

The good thing about HTC, is that they started pushing side updates as apps (Lockscreen, Widgets, Themes, ... etc) that belong to Sense 7 to the old devices that are still running Sense 6

They're preparing a release of Sense 7, probably with the OTA to 5.1, for both the M8 and the M7 I think.

But that is very cool. I'm really looking forward to Sense 7.

Actually only the GPe version of the M7 will receive the 5.1 update, still, as an M8 user, that doesn't really bother me.

Hmm, well I had heard (or thought I had heard) the M7 will get Sense 7, but I suppose I could be mistaken. I do remember now though that the regular M7 will not get the 5.1 update.

Well, regardless, I am looking forward to Sense 7. The M9 eye-candy has been fun while we wait for it, though.
