Clockwork Mod Recovery

I'm having a hard time rebooting into CWM. I have ROM Manager Premium and I'm trying to reboot through that. When it reboots the M logo appears, then the screen blinks, M logo again, Droid eye, and then the home page appears. I've tried doing it manually, power and x, but no luck. Any suggestions?

You should flash SPrecovery and then Clockwork. it should work then. i heard that people were having this problem with some of the froyo builds. You might have also put an OS build that doesnt have root access on your phone. but i think its more likely to be the first. so try flashing an alternative recovery and then do clockwork again. then reboot to recovery.
