clockwork recovery help

Ok so I recently rooted my phone with super one click and I want to flash it and whatnot but when I tried to do the backup through the clockwork recovery I can't open it. I go into recovery and when I select the apply sdcard:update.zip it says "E: failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory)"
So how can I get this to work?
And btw I'm a noob here so make sure I can understand this please

Ok first thing is, you can't do an update.zip with cwm, those are to be used in stock recovery. And in regards to a backup I'm not sure what you mean because you're referring to doing an update.zip? If you can get into detail a little more I or someone may be able to help you better.

Have you applied CWM via ODIN? When you boot into recovery, is the text blue? If both answers are yes, you installed an older version of CWM that requires an update.zip file to be applied in order to switch from the stock recovery (blue text) to CWM (most likely green or orange text). Here is a link to a newer version of CWM that doesn't require update.zip and will boot straight into CWM, bypassing stock recovery all together. It is applied with ODIN and after applying it (takes just a few seconds), make sure to boot straight into recovery to see if it worked. The text will be red and have a whole lot more options to choose from than the stock.

first drop com rom 1.3 on your sd card

flash that in odin.

boot to recovery

flash 1.3

done

and do I flash this from ROM manager or what?

ROM manager and fascinate is a nono. Don't like each other a lot.

no, you flash whatever rom, theme or kernel you want. you choose file from sd.

push is a term used when you use adb on your pc to do stuff to your phone.

yes, install zip from sd card, on next menu you will select choose zip from sd card
