Clockwork to RA?

I have always used clockwork but I wanna switch to RA to partition the sd card! Is it ok to switch using rom manager while running kingdom-supercharge3D?

Do it, it's recovery. Just backup beforehand

Just remember 2 things.

You won't be able to use rom manager with Amon RA
Your previous backups won't work Amon RA

I highly recommend Amon RA. Never had one issue, I been using it for about 6 months

I've used both and am using clockwork again. If you have the new ver, you can partition without fear. I just did mine this evening using cw. I am running synergy with 378mb free on the phone. Quite zippy.

Thanks guys, yeah I had to send my phone back a while ago and was rooted before but when the replacement phone came I updated to GB....So I used the REV method to gain root again and was a little worried about bricking using that version of clockwork to partition.....its version 3.0.0.5

A lot of people don't think about that until they are stuck in a bootloop. Then they think their phone just become a brick. Which it hasn't.

Same goes when it comes to Rom Manager.

Just keeping simple issues aware.

3.0.0.5 is the loader. If you downloaded cw within the last 2 months, or after May really, you're safe

It will free up internal space on the phone by storing apps on the ext3 file on the sd card and so on.....pretty much more space equals speedy phone! You can also set the swap size

So I just tried to partition my sd card with cw and when I was done everything was still on the sd card! It didnt do anything everything is the same ha.....Im thinking ill just switch to RA

I always go back to ra unless I have to use CW, I've had way to many issues with CW and flashing
