re: [CLOSED] Android Central Photo Contest: Transportation!

I took a different angle with this theme; both figuratively and literally. Escalators transport us from one level to another in a building, and I felt this shot gives a unique perspective of a common object.

Shot with a Galaxy S7.

LG G4
Edited with Google Photos

As an IT guy that lives nowhere near California, getting to visit the Google HQ was almost surreal. I snapped a quick photo of some of their bicycles while ogling the Android statues.

Took this picture last year in Portugal at the famous Tram 28 Route in Lisbon. It was magical too see how the trams are running on the very narrow streets and curves. :) Taken with a MotoG4, stock photo.

My wife and I were recently in southwestern Europe. My wife took this picture of the bridge from the (moving) car with her Samsung Galaxy S7. The photo is unedited, except cropped a bit.

Was working late at night, had to take a bus to the subway to the train. When I got to the subway, the service train rolled through. Never a good sign.

Shot on my new Galaxy S8+ and proceeded in Snapseed.

Hello!

I took this on the road on my way home. Just loved the sky.

Taken with the Samsung S5 Neo, edited with snapseed.

Have a great morning/day/evening/night! :)

I took this just before a truck rolled by, on the way to work one evening. Used my LG V10 and a tripod to keep the shot steady and also used my headphone button to keep from causing any blurs. I set the long exposure to 2 minutes, I believe. It took a bunch of shots, but I finally got one a liked. I edited it in Snapseed. I call it ghostrider.
ETA it was 2 seconds, not minutes. Sorry for the confusion!

Just out of curiosity, are you sure it was 2 minutes? I have the V20 and have used the G4, and LG seems to only go to 30 seconds. I'd love to do longer exposures if possible, but don't think that long is possible on current phones.

You are correct. My mistake, I was looking at the info in the picture and saw a 2" and mistook that for 2 minutes.

Here's a photo I took of a world famous NYC yellow taxi, in a hurry transporting...someone.

Photo was taken with the stock camera app on my beloved Galaxy S6 Edge. Color and cropping edits done with Photoshop.

Took a road trip a couple years ago, this was in Chicago. Still had a Note 3 at the time. One of my favorite pictures. Just basic cropping, no other editing.

Edit: just realized this is in fact, no longer open....I can't seem to find a delete comment option either \0/

Standing on a walking trail outside of work. This has a little bit of everything: a biker, a jogger, a river, the freeway... shot with my Pixel XL with no editing.

re: [CLOSED] Android Central Photo Contest: Transportation!

With "Transportation" being the title, I am assuming it includes all such means. I took this photo with my android Motorola Nexus 6 a couple years ago on a flight from Las Vegas to Seattle. The mountains were so beautiful I just had to take some pics. As you can see I got a part of the planes engine and a bit of the wing in the shot, so I am hoping its enough to make the photo eligible as a contestant. Thank you for this opportunity to show this pic off. Lol. Ohh yea, and I didnt do any editing to the photo. Its all as is.

Dear everyone,
I never forget about the contests. They end when they say they're going to end, and only submissions that are entered before the end of the contest are considered. Many factors go into choosing the winner(s) of photo contests, which means they take a little longer to be announced. :D

Thanks for your patience, now and in the future. ;)
