ok, I am on T-Mobile USA
I currently use Samsung Note2.
as it getting a bit long in the tooth I want to upgrade, but I have a budget. I did and still doing some research now.

what I want is
#1 a bigger screen. Note2 is 5.2" I want to go at least 5.7
#2 a good camera. my phone has replaced my camera long time ago, but I want to get better camera than Note2.

#3 a good battery.
#3.5 is not overly important but if I can have it a Wireless charging.

I was looking at several options from tmo.

a. an LG Stylo 2 Pro (so,so reviews and options on it)
b. a ZTE ZMax Pro (good screen but still in limbo on it as the camera is not overly good)

c. A Pre-owned Note 5. can get it for $500 and stores pusshing for insurance on it ??? your opinion
the non-removable battery is keeping me on the fence.

d. A Pre-owned Note 4. can get it for $400 ????

e. ??? any other options? I would love to have the stylus but will not dismiss a non-stylus phone if it meets my other needs/wants

thanks V

PS: I am closing this thread as I have found my answer and got a NOTE 4 on EBAY

listen you should try and get htc one its a good phone or get samsung galaxy a5 2016 it has a very good camera and has a long lasting 2900 mh battery has a screen size of 5.2" screen has 16gb storage and the processor is a snapdragon 615 2gb ram aswell oh yeah for got to mention it has a 13mp camera or in definition terms 1080p so you should get that phone

Re: it's time to upgrade my Note2 , what should I get to replace it?

please read the OP. I have a phone with 5.2" screen, my #1 point is, I want a bigger screen.

htc one is 5.0 screen,
samsung galaxy a5 is 5.2.

Yes my Note2 needs a refresh, but it is still a fully functional phone, so if I want to stay with 5.2 screen I could just keep the note2. do a factory refresh on it and ta-da.
however, I want a bigger screen and a better camera.

I think I have made my decision. I will go for Note 4.
just need to decide if I should get it through t-mobile or catch a break on eBay.
found several on eBay going for between $280 and $330 all marked as New Unlocked but it is hard to believe a New 4 yo phone. so I assume high quality refurb.

EDIT: found couple of units on Amazon, also marked as new
think I might go with Amazon. it usually stands by the merchandise bought from it's web.

ok, after reading much reviews around the net,
I decided to get the phone through t-mobile.
it would be only about $60 or $70 more but should be safer in the end.

if anyone thinks different please say so.
