Slacker is so bad-ass because I can actually listen to cached stations in the gym when I use it. My gym has no wifi and is under a 4-story corporate office, so I can only listen to cached stations. Pandora and others won't work. My free account's caching trial expired, so I am without music in the gym now.

Far better music variety on Slacker than Pandora. I dig it and tell others about it all the time. A subscription would be very nice so I don't have to hear Geico commercials anymore (at least, on Slacker--there's no real escape from the gecko)!

I have tried several other online Radio sites and Android applications and nothing even comes close to matching Slacker.
No matter what your taste in music Slacker has something to offer everybody. Slacker also goes the extra mile to to personalize your listening experience by implementing features that many other streaming Radio players don't have such as station favorites, song/artist banning, and cached radio stations for offline playback.
Having an Android phone without Slacker is like Lightening without it's Thunder!!!

Slacker is badass in so many ways, price, functionality, and the app is one of the better ones written for Android. MOG anyone? lol. Very dependable and only gets better with each release.

Love Slacker radio because we cannot get reception at work....I work in Radiology...so due to lead in the walls we can't get regular radio and for some reason...the other streamer not to be mentioned but starts with a P....is blocked...so we listen to this great one all day long.
Nice thing is that we are able to customize the music to each patients liking, which so far has been anything from Gospel to Rap to country to 80's hair bands and it has been so AWESOME.
