closing dock and tablet lid shuts off USB power?

I want to charge my phone while hooked up to the USB with the dock and tablet in...is there a setting to keep power/USB charging on when closing the lid? Its annoying to have to keep the lid open and have to charge it

Hi Kyle, I have run into this issue as well and have not found any way around it. Unfortunately I think we are stuck with having to keep the lid open to charge another device via the USB port.

On my TF, if I have the charger connected to the dock, the USB stays powered when the tablet is closed. That is the only solution I have found.

I found if pandora is playing thenthe USB stays on. I'm guessing other apps could do what pandora is doing without playing music. Or just play pandora on mute.

If I plug in said device I want to charge into my dock, then close it after it starts charging, it continues to charge.
