Cloud gallery hiding duplicate images

Mine hasn't popped up in a week.....

It popped up on me a couple days ago again, but that was only the second time I've seen it do that. No telling if it has when I'm not looking.

This morning in my notification center, I have a new item I have never seen before... it has been running for hours. I haven't installed any new apps, I presume an app update changed something. The App title is "Cloud Gallery" in the status, if I click on it it pops up a notification that says "Hiding duplicate images may take a while. Do you want to wait?"

Any idea what's up?

"settings>apps>gallery>uninstall update" it'll ask if you want to go back to the factory*setting click OK

They released an update today and so far looks like they ended the spasmatic slide show. Not sure if it did anything else yet. Merry Christmas from them.

It looks like it fixed the cloud gallery issue too. Now if only they would fix the slide slow within an album to not display when no items are selected. UGh.
