Question Cloud Icon at Top Left of Home Screen

What does it indicate and how can I remove it? I've gone through my Pixel 7 Pro's menus but I can't find a cloud icon.

A picture would probably help, but some apps I can think of that look like clouds could be OneDrive or some sort of weather indicator. Usually, if you expand the notification bar, you should be able to see if it's a notification (and tap/long press on it to see which app is generating it).

Turn off Google weather, long press the Google app >tap info>notifications>scroll down to Notification categories>turn off Google weather alerts

When you see it in the status bar, what happens when you swipe down the notification panel? Do you see a corresponding notification there?

Dunno. Hafta wait until the cloud reappears...

Upon further examination, the cloud has three bumps, unlike the other clouds. And it seems to be appearing when there are a lot of clouds in the area or when rain is forecast. Right now the sky is cloudless and no rain is forecast for the entire week, and no cloud appears, so I suppose that could be something from my Weewow weather app.

My Weewow weather app's On-going Notification parameter is currently turned on, but I currently have it set to Allow only while using the app. All the other Weewow notifications are turned off . When the cloud reappears, I'll turn this notification off and see what happens.

I have Weawow as well (great app!), and I think you're right that it's the source. In the Weawow settings, go to On-going Notification, then select "Icon in the status bar." Is that set to "Current weather" or "Today weather"? If so, try changing it to "Current temperature" and see if the cloud gets replaced by the temp.

Okay. I went to On-going Notification and selected "Icon in the status bar." It was already set to "Current temperature", but I restarted the cellphone anyway and it only displays the current time in the top left corner of the screen. Then I noticed that I had turned "On going notifications" off. I turned it back on and now I can see the temperature display.
