Wants to see my Photo's from Dropbox in Gallery on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Dropbox Photos Not showing in Gallery anymore.(my Note 4 can)

If it is not possible anymore, which apps could show cloud photos on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 photo gallery?

I want to save the photo on the computer and it will appeared on my photo gallery.

Please advise.

Thanks!

I use Google photos and amazon photos and both show photos from the cloud.

No, it doesn't.

And as far as I know Google photos will only show photos stored in Google... And biggest reason I don't i use it is because all my photos are organized in folders... Google photos doesn't recognize folders and dumps everything together.

QuickPik can link to most of online storage and I was very happy with it till I researched their privacy policy and I stopped using it.

Google photos doesn't recognize folders? That's disappointing. I was just contemplating giving them a try.

I would have loved to use it too, but thats a deal breaker for me. After years of keeping photos in respective folders...I am not just going to take Google's word that I should let them organize photos for me...I like it the way I have it.

I set my photos up in albums within Google Photos the same way I have them in folders on my backup storage.

Were you able to upload your folders into google photos OR you had to make albums again in google photos?

You can create the albums within the Photos app and move images to albums but unless you're just doing a few its a tedious process. I uploaded all my images to Photos via computer (Mac), about 8k images. When I did, I created an album first then imported all images from the respective folder directly to that album. Now it's just maintenance as I add new images.

Yeah thats what I thought...way too tedious.

If I understand it correctly...this is how it sorts it for you...it doesnt actually put photos in those respective albums/folders. If tomorrow or a year from now...you were to download these photos back to your computer for whatever reason, they wont maintain that structure, will just be a big photo dump. I could be wrong...but thats my understanding

Exactly, the links that associate a photo to an album exist within the Photos database. Pretty much the same as iPhoto or the newer Photo programs on a Mac.
