Does anyone use a cloud player like Amazon or the new music beta as their main player? I'm just curious

sent for my fantastic thunderbolt.

I use the Amazon cloud player and I love it. I don't find that it drains the battery particularly fast, but I haven't really compared it to any other players. I don't have any music *on* my thunderbolt itself. Between Pandora, Subsonic, Tunein Radio, and Amazon Cloud/MP3 player, I think I'm covered until I want to play a song as an alarm, which I haven't yet.

Im currently using google music with my local MP3's and I like it. The htc player for me has issues with orientation when I put the bolt into the car dock.

My main music player is PlayerPro. While I'm eagerly anticipating my Google beta invite, I'm going to be reluctant to let go of PlayerPro (it's the best). Ultimately, I'm hoping that Google will release Google Music API's so that developers can integrate their apps with Google's cloud solution.

I'm still waiting for a Google beta invitation but Amazon Could Player has been good to me so far. I've been able to stream over 3G while sitting in my office and our signal strength here is horrible. Seems like the amount of battery drain is about what you'd expect, really - nothing too extreme.

Hoping to get the Google Music invite soon. I was thinking about trying Amazon and mspot to see how they work. I have also been using audiogalaxy, but I would rather a cloud option so that I don't have to keep my pc on at home.

Amazon MP3 cloud player is amazing. 4G and simplicity makes this one of the best music apps around. Feel like downloading a song, while at a stop light and play it in the car, it takes 5 seconds. Highly recommend it!

I'm using Amazon and waiting on Google. I'm using a combination of locally stored songs and cloud songs and it works great. I still like my old iPod interface better, but this is doing the trick. The only think I don't like is that you have to toggle between locally stored music and cloud stored music. I think that should be a buried option and that by default your music list should just display as your music list. Who cares where it's stored when you just want to listen? If you're worried about data or have a bad connection or no connection, then it would be useful to be able to limit things to just local, but that choice shouldn't otherwise be forced on you. I can't remember what's stored where and don't want to have to.

I hadn't realized how expensive 32gb microSD cards were (advantage: Thunderbolt!) so I'm holding off buying that, which leaves me with my 16gb card that came with my Dinc2. That won't hold all of my music and I don't feel like going through all of it to pick which ones I want on the phone. So cloud storage is a very attractive idea. I think the free version of the Amazon one holds way less than 16gb, though so I'm hoping Google's allows more.
